Pat was bitching and moaning that my software didn't work. My software did work, but I suspect Pat was just bitching to bitch about something.

Well really it wasn't my software that Pat was accusing of not working. Even if Pat didn't know it, he was accusing the SQL query of not working. And the SQL query does work.

I suspect Pat gets his jollies by bossing people around. And of course I suspect this was one of Pat's attempts to boss me around.

I was going to Pat to go f*ck him self, which is what I should have done.

But instead I decided that I would prove that Pat is a liar and a jerk by changing the software to monitor everything Pat did.

The only enhancement I added to the software was I added a button that if checked would cause the software to remove leading and trailing spaces from the SQL query.

Here is the code I added:

I didn't bother telling Pat what I did. And more importantly I didn't tell Pat how to use my latest fix and that he had to check a box to get my fix to work.

After I told Pat I "fixed" the software Pat said the fix worked, but that was a lie.

But as this list of all the things Pat searched for it shows that Pat NEVER, not even ONCE used my fix.

The boxes are only checked when you use my fix and other then when I tested the software Pat NEVER checked a box.

The only times those boxes were checked was on 2010-04-23 thru 2010-04-26 when I wrote the software and was testing it.

Not once when Pat first used the software on 2010-05-03 until now did he ever check the box which uses my fix.

You may notice some of the color coded stuff in this listing like this:

The purpose of that is to help me easily find places where Pat type one or more extra spaces in his search string.

In the above example I type in 3 spaces in front of the world "frog"

When Pat uses the software again he should look at this comment which I put in the html:
