Mom accused of leaving stroller by street Jun. 27, 2011 05:46 PM Associated Press FOND DU LAC, Wis. -- A 30-year-old Fond du Lac woman has been arrested after allegedly leaving a stroller containing two young children by a street. Police Capt. Steve Klein says a caller told police the woman was falling down and rolling around in the grass while the children sat in a stroller near the roadway. Klein says the woman was intoxicated. He says police located a third child alone in the woman's nearby home. The children's ages are 20 months and 4 and 5 years old. The children were taken into protective custody. The Fond du Lac Reporter says the woman appeared on the Fond du Lac County Jail list Monday but did not make an initial appearance. |
