Does this mean if you have any pills on you they are considered illegal drugs unless you can prove otherwise? - "Officials initially thought the pills they found on him after the crash were ecstasy, but they have now determined that it was oxycontin"
With that in mind, I suspect that means the cops no longer need any "stinking probable cause" to stop you, because it's assumed you are guilty of something, until you prove that you are innocent. Ex-'CSI' Dourdan charged with possession of oxycontin Jul. 7, 2011 09:16 AM USA TODAY Former "CSI" star Gary Dourdan can't seem to stay out of trouble with the police. The actor has just been charged with drug possession and possession of drug paraphernalia following his arrest last month when he crashed into a few parked cars in Hollywood. Officials initially thought the pills they found on him after the crash were ecstasy, but they have now determined that it was oxycontin. If Dourdan is convicted, he'd face a year of jail time. This isn't his first time mixing drugs, police and a car though. The actor was arrested in Palm Springs, Calif. in 2008 after police found him asleep inside his car with cocaine, ecstasy and heroin inside. He didn't do any jail time. Dourdan also left "CSI" in 2008. |
